ABOUT ME
I was brought up Catholic and lived with my older brother and parents in a small former mining village, just outside of Edinburgh.

I left home to study for a B.A in Politics at Strathclyde University, Glasgow and then moved to London at age 25. I spent time working in the corporate world and then trained as an Aromatherapist/Massage therapist at age 30.
​
I then worked with teenagers and also in children’s homes and with care leavers, as well as volunteering with adults with mental health and learning difficulties. These experiences and my love of working with children led me to study for a M.A in Social Work at Goldsmiths University, London.

I then worked as a Social Worker with Children and Families for over four years until I found the courage to follow my heart and “jump in” and work as a Psychic Medium.
​
The first spiritual encounter I am consciously aware of in this lifetime was when I received spiritual healing whilst travelling in Egypt in my early 20’s. I experienced some challenging times in my late teens/early 20’s and this healing I received assisted me to move forward in my life.
​
About a year later I attended a Psychic Fayre in Glasgow and received my first ever reading. The Psychic Medium I saw told me that I would be doing the same job as him one day. I thought “you have got to be joking” as it was a possibility I could just not envisage for myself at this time.
​
The next event that changed my life profoundly was being visited by my paternal grandmother from the spirit world when I happened to be cooking her recipe “Granny Duffy’s soup.” She died before I was born however I knew immediately that it was her and she surrounded me in the most beautiful loving energy. Just as soon as I experienced this my first thought was did that just happen, however I knew in my heart that it did.
This wonderful visitation opened up my heart and mind to explore my spiritual side and I experienced even more psychic & mediumistic experiences that I could not explain using my logical mind.
One that had a significant impact on me was when I believe I was visited by an angel. I decided in my early 30’s to return to Scotland, however very soon after arriving back home I fell and broke my arm. By the time I had recovered all the work opportunities that had been open to me previously were no longer available. I felt very low and was being hard on myself at this time. I took solace by attending a service at a Spiritualist Church in Edinburgh. As soon as I entered the church I was surrounded with the most beautiful smell. It was like nothing I had ever smelled before. There were flowers there so I smelled them but found that they could not account for the beautiful smell.
At the end of the service I questioned the staff there and asked them about the smell. They advised me they had not been using incense or anything else that would explain the smell. As I left the building the beautiful smell followed me and came home with me. It felt like a whooshing energy that emitted the most amazing smell. When I asked my parents at the time if they could feel and smell this beautiful energy they said they could not and gave me a worried look. However, I knew this was a loving energy and it brought me healing at a time when I needed it.

This beautiful smell came to visit me every now and again during the next few months bringing solace and love.
​
Not long after this experience just before falling asleep one evening I read a book that said that St Theresa often left yellow roses at the besides of those in hospital who had no visitors. I thought this was just lovely. When I woke up the next morning the very first thing I saw was my father placing a beautiful yellow rose in a vase. I felt blessed as I knew this was a sign from spirit letting me know I am not alone. This gave me hope and much needed comfort at a time when I needed it.

During this time I felt quite lost and unsure of what to do next. However whilst sitting on a bus I was given a psychic vision and heard words that I know came from spirit. The message was that if you are driving along and you find that you have driven down a dead end road, what are you going to do? Are you going to just stay there or are you going to reverse out of this road and choose to go down another road? I then knew that I had to leave Scotland and return back to London. I had been trying to walk through closed doors.

I eventually began attending classes at The College of Psychic Studies, London and studied with great teachers Teresa Leong & Amanda Roberts. I am now working as a teacher and consultant at the college which brings me great joy.
I am grateful for all the learning and support I receive at the college and from all the lightworkers who work at the wonderful spiritual centre Clearly Destiny in London.
I am glad the psychic's prediction came true as I love being a medium for spirit and working with angels & guides. They have taught me to see and count the rainbows in my day, no matter how small and to light up and lighten up! As Archangel Michael likes to remind us " we are here to enjoy, not endure."
